Blizzard's Jeff Kaplan has taken to the airwaves with the latest Developer Update for Overwatch. In this edition, Kaplan reinforces the team's commitment to removing toxic players from the game and that they've been making strides to that end. One of newer methods for doing so is by perusing social media including YouTube.
Overwatch developers have been cagey about defining exactly what toxic activity is and how / where they are looking for it. This prevents players from finding ways to circumvent monitoring and dodge disciplinary measures. Kaplan has said that monitoring social media has been successful so far and that it will continue for the time being.
