Focus Entertainment and DON’T NOD have released a new trailer for Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. This latest trailer focuses on the game’s intimate narrative where players play as two ghost hunters who are romantic partners, one still a mortal, and the other a ghost themselves.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is the latest title from Life is Strange and Vampyr developer Don’t Nod Entertainment. The game was officially unveiled at last year’s The Game Awards with a cinematic trailer. Banishers is a third person action RPG where players will take control of a pair of romantically linked ghost hunters named Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith. While investigating the haunted community of New Eden, Antea Duarte becomes a ghost herself and players will need to rely on both Red’s conventional skills and Antea’s spirit abilities to survive their adventures in New Eden.
Players looking to upgrade their purchase can opt for one of two editions exclusive to the Focus Entertainment store.
The first is the Red Echoes Edition, which includes an old leather bound journal with illustrations of Red’s memories, an ink writing set, the game, and Wanderer Set DLC content.
For those looking to go all out, the $199 Collector’s Edition includes the game, a separable statuette of protagonists Red and Antea, the game’s official artbook, a Steelbook case, and two Banishers’ signet rings.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden arrives February 13 on the PlayStation 5, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox Series X|S platforms.
