Marvel Snap’s latest season is now live and it features one of Marvel Comics’ most iconic story arcs: Avengers vs. X-Men. Comic book fans always love a good superhero vs. superhero fight and what could be a more high profile conflict than pitting the Avengers and X-Men against each other?
Second Dinner released a new developer update video alongside the new season, which does a solid job balancing entertaining and being informational.
The new season pass card is the unbelievably powerful mutant and adoptive child of Cable: Hope Summers. Fittingly, her ability is sure to shake up the meta, as she is a 3/4 that allows players to gain +1 Energy next turn for each card played on her location in the previous turn. The ability to quickly ramp into powerful cards and do so repeatedly should be a sight to behold.
The pass also features PANDART variants for Magneto, Iron Man, and Hope Summers, a Cyclops emote, Hope Summers and Avengers themed card backs, and more.
New cards releasing as part of the weekly release schedule this season include: Pixie, Mockingbird, Cannonball, and the arrival of the iconic War Machine.
