The Artisan Festival will begin on December 1 of this year as Ultima Online’s latest patch gives us a look into the future as the team outline Publish 109.
The festival is set to run through January 5, 2021, with the festival beginning in Yew this year. New rewards will be included such as stained glass windows, and a blanket which can be folded up. Additionally, the team notes that rewards in general have been weighted which allows newer rewards to be rewarded more often.
Dynamic features were also outlined, such as the dynamic treasures event which will let the dev team and moderators make their own events. The key here is that this setup requires no extra work on the back-end which should free up those resources.
These dynamic tools also apply to champion spawns and boss mob generator, the latter of which includes,
