The Trove site has been updated with the news that Gardening 2.0 "is now in season" in the game. It comes complete with new Alchemy and Vegetable plants, new ways to craft plants to eat and much more. Gardening ranks now allow players to earn the title Horticulturalist at level 300. Players can get buffs to resources or can help players "grow big and strong". Simply equip a harvested plant to gain the buff.
The Trove site has been updated with the news that St. Qubeslick 2019 has arrived and will run through March 26th. Players can set off on eight new "event adventures" that provide a sneak peek at gardening system improvements coming later in 2019. Dungeon loot chests will yield Lucky Dust that is used to create both Clover Seeds and Lucky Stars. Planting Clover Seeds and tossing a few Lucky Stars at them gives a boost so that, when harvested, they offer a consumable to increase Magic Find.
Gamigo has sent word that the console version of Trove has been updated to bring the Crystal Combat update into the game. Players will find "new worlds, dungeons and much more" in the update that launched for PC back in December 2018. The update includes three procedurally generated Topside worlds called Hollow Dunes, Weathered Wasteland and The Cerise Sandsea. These locations are said to bring new challenges to players.
Trove will be receiving a large new update when the Crystal Combat patch is deployed with players finally able to explore "the wonders of Geode's Topside". The update will be released for PC later today and for consoles in early 2019.
Trove players can relax now that Gamigo, the new owner of the Trove IP, has gone on record saying that the development of the game will continue, though it will be with a smaller dev team than before. According to the letter from the new team, having a smaller dev group will "give us the opportunity to create a more agile development structure and that "by moving away from a massive, monolithic plan" for each update, they allow the team to focus on exciting features.
Trove has been updated today to bring a number of quality of life improvement to the surprisingly fun Bomber Royale game-within-a-game. Players will find the new Blast Cam that allows them to keep tabs on the action even if they've met their own fiery doom. In addition, several QoL tweaks have been made to responsiveness, the Leaderboard, and XP tweaks.

Trove players not only have a ton of new content to explore systems-wise, but also an entire planet to uncover thanks to today's launch of the Geode expansion. Players will set off to a new planet where exploration is king and combat "takes a back seat". The goal is to uncover new collectibles and companions and work through story-based quests that sends adventurers into a maze of caverns and tunnels.
The next Trove expansion has been announced that will literally send players out of the world and to the new planet of Geode. It will be a "journey of exploration and discovery" with new wonders and sights to behold. It's a planet that features underground caves packed with lore about the history of the inhabitants. Players will find a story-driven adventure as it unfolds over time.
Trove is going to be introducing its version of battle royale with what developers call "Bomber Royale" that sees up to 20 players hurling bombs at one another until there is "just one Trovian left standing". The new game mode will be coming along later this summer.

Trion Worlds has revealed additional information about the forthcoming content expansion to Trove called Adventures. Among other things, players will be able to "team up and tackle the game's sprawling world together" in new ways. The Club system has been overhauled to the point where players can customize their own club worlds and provide opportunities to work cooperatively to level up the club and power up characters.
