Hi-Rez Studios has announced a new update for Tribes: Ascend. The update has been deployed and includes enough significant changes that all previous purchases have been reverted and all Tribes Gold and XP have been refunded. The update includes three new maps, rebalancing and alteration to Light, Medium & Heavy classes, rebalanced weapons and vehicles and much more.

Fans of the Tribes series of games will want to head over to Hi-Rez Studios' official Tribes: Ascend page to sign up for the beta test of the multiplayer FPS title. Ascend is scheduled to hit beta on November 4th.

The Tribes Ascend Facebook page has been updated with another pair of great concept art shots from the forthcoming MMO from Hi-Rez Studios. This time, the featured artwork showcases the Diamond Sword. The renders include Diamond Sword Medium and Light screens.
