Tree of Life Articles
The Tree of Life team has sent word that it is introducing a new currency called Boboo that is similar in style to the real-world Bitcoin. Players are sent out to a specific location to mine for a limited number of coins. These can be bought and sold on a marketplace, though with limited quantities, players need to be strategic about trades. Interestingly, the player who finds the most Boboo coins will receive a real life version made of solid gold.
Tree of Life players now have some holiday cheer to explore thanks to the arrival of the Winter Festival. Santa Boboo is present in the game and everyone will receive a festive decoration and be able to use the Winter Tree Skin consisting of a hat, jacket, pants, gloves and shoes. In addition, new mounts (Red-nosed Doe or Buck) are included.
NeoBricks and OddoneGames are finally ready to unleash Tree of Life on Steam in August 2017. Development on ToL began in 2012 and it went to STeam Early Access in May 2015. Over 34k copies have been sold to date. To celebrate the big announcement, developers have released a new trailer.
OddOne Games has good news for fans of Tree of Life: A map wipe for the current early access version of the game will take place on April 18th in preparation for the start of the open beta phase of development. To give players a look at what they can expect, a new trailer and a "what's new in beta" video have been released.
