Pre-orders for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Torchlight II are now officially open. In addition, three console-exclusive pets have been announced: the Molten Imp for Xbox One pre-orders; the Faerie for PlayStation 4 pre-orders; and the Yapper for all pre-orders. Nintendo Switch pre-orders and bonus pet will be announced later this summer.
Torchlight II is the sequel to Runic Games' original Torchlight title but comes with a number of feature improvements including the ability for pets to make town runs to sell equipment to vendors. The console version will also come with enhanced controls, an improved targeting system, and a specially designed UI just for console players. There are also new achievements and trophies to earn and tons of pets to discover.
Up to four players can tackle Torchlight II cooperatively "for combat using a wireless internet connection on all three platforms".
Torchlight II will be available on September 3rd.
