During today's E3 2019 Nintendo Direct, it was announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - The Complete Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch. No release date was given, but it's huge news for RPG fans who want the best on the go. This edition was rumored last week and it turns out to be true.
Is it possible that CD Projekt Red could be bringing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to Nintendo Switch? Inquiring minds want to know! Doug Cockle, the voice actor behind Geralt of Rivia, maybe? Cockle shared JP's Switchmania "Wish List #1" of what they'd most like to see come to Nintendo Switch. #1 on the list? The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Cockle responded, "Who else wants to see this... ;)". Obviously, this is not definitive proof but the coy wink at the end could be acknowledgement. You be the judge!
Henry Cavill will be playing Geralt of Rivia in the upcoming Netflix series based on The Witcher. In a new Twitter post from Netflix US, we get our first look at the stern-faced Cavill as he will appear in the series.
Andrezj Sapkowski, author of the eight book Witcher novel series, has sent an "official demand" to CD Projekt Red for an additional $16M USD in royalties that would be added to payments he has already collected. Sapkowski originally made a deal with CDPR in the early 2000s to sell the rights to The Witcher. "The compensation remitted to the author is too low given the benefits obtained in association with the use of the author's work". The 'demand' is for 6% "of the profits obtained'.

A new mod for The Witcher 3 has been released called "Enhanced Reshade" that brings an entirely new and immersive feel to the game. "It works with all lightning mods and with Vanilla lighting. It enhances the shadows, the lighting, the colors and the contrasts" the author writes on Nexus Mods.

CD Projekt Red has announced the release of an XBox One X graphical "upgrade patch" for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It allows "tweaks to the game across two visual fidelity options -- 4K Mode and Performance Mode. In addition, the company revealed that a PlayStation 4 Pro upgrade patch that will include HDR support will be released soon.

CD Projekt Red has announced the release of a pair of patches, 1.50 for PlayStation 4 Pro support and 1.51 that adds stability to the client overall. Netflix and Polish production company, Platige Image, have announced a partnership agreement to bring Andrzej Sapkowski's series of novels to life.
