The Realm Online Overview
One of the first MMORPGs, Norseman Games' The Realm Online debuted in 1996. In the game, players can find a typical assortment of quests, PvP battles, dungeons, a player-driven economy, and PvE monster hunts. The Realm Online has a small client and even allows for dialup users or those with older computers to play easily. The game still has a small, dedicated playerbase which strengthens the community atmosphere. A one-week free trial is available.
