Beta Delay, Will Begin May 12th

In order to implement several changes within the game we felt were very important and resolve server stability issues, we have postponed the launch of our Open Beta from 5:00 pm PST on May 11th to 5:00 pm PST on May 12th. Despite this delay, the client will still be available for download today. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we ask for your understanding and support.

We will continue to tirelessly work to bring you the best of what The Legend of Ares has to offer.

Salutations from the folks here at MGame! We are excited to present our players with a whole new set of events for our Open Beta. But before going any further, we are pleased to announce that character information acquired during Open Beta will not be "wiped" upon release, but will be maintained. That having been said, without further ado, here are the events for The Legend of Ares Open Beta:

Prize Item for the participants of the Closed Betas

For those people who have participated in the Closed Betas of The Legend of Ares, we will be distributing the following items directly into their account. To redeem this prize, players must complete the Closed Beta prize redemption form (link).

The Friend Invitational Event

During May 12th to June 11th, players can participate in the Friend Invitational Event by inviting up to 5 of their friends to The Legend of Ares. As a reward, the participants of the event (the inviters and those invited) will receive Mercury Potions to help in their endeavors in the game. To qualify for this prize (for both the inviters and the invitee), the people who were invited must create a character within the game. Players may participate in this event only once, but will receive 10 Mercury Potions for every friend that qualifies (up to a total of 50 potions).

Exp Increase Event

Once a day, a player can receive a potion that increases their Exp Gain rate by 150% for 1 hour. To acquire this miraculous potion, players should speak with an illustrious NPC in Etana by the name of 'Sam'. Sam will only award one potion to each player once a day, so use the potion wisely.

Level 10 Commendation Event

Upon forming a character, every player will receive a coupon in their inventory that will be redeemable once they hit level 10. This coupon, once redeemed, will award the player with a full set of magic armor and weapon for the character to use. To redeem this coupon, a player must be over level 10 and speak with an NPC named Jessie in the sacred lands. The items awarded for this event will not be available to sell, trade, drop, or PS (Personal Shop).
