The Legend of Ares Overview
The Legend of Ares was a PvP-centric MMORPG from NetGame and MGame USA that featured the god Ares conquering a nation and that nation, Arabic, fighting back. Players could select from two factions of the Holy Empire and Religious Alliance, and the four classes of Knight, Spearman, Archer, and Sorcerer. The game's two warring factions opened up many modes of PvP between them, including solo and guild-wide battles that determined turf ownership as well as benefits for all who fought on the winning side. The international version of the game was shut down in 2009.
