Day 1 Patch Notes & Datamined Information - MMORPG.com

Tom Clancy's The Division is set to be released on Tuesday, March 8th complete with a Day 1 patch that addresses some of the issues that were encountered during the recent open beta test as well as includes some improvements and updates.

GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENTS:

  • New "Help" menu is now available in the Settings menu. It stores all the loading screen and context sensitive tips
  • New tutorials added for certain gameplay features and mechanics (these can be switched off in the Options menu)
  • Added information to the in-game loot pickup UI that displays why an item can't be picked up
  • The deployable turret no longer targets non-rogue players and doesn't damage neutral players caught in the line of fire
  • Skill modifiers have been added directly to gear (previously only available on gear mods)

You can read the entire change log by visiting The Division site.

In related news, the client has been available for download since late last week and dataminers have had a field day exploring the information within. If you're into spoilers, including how many missions and their names and want some information about the end game, you can head to this Reddit post to check it out. Obviously, it goes without saying that there will be many spoilers. It's also possible that the information gleaned from the datamine is incorrect. Take it for what you will. You have been warned!
