Ubisoft confirmed that The Division will be updated on Tuesday, February 28th with Update 1.6 and the Last Stand DLC. The confirmation came by way of The Division Podcast from late last week.

The Division will be receiving another DLC with the release of patch 1.6 and Last Stand in the near future. Last stand challenges to players to control a trio of tactical areas on one of the four Dark Zone maps. Within each control point are three objectives that have to be completed in order to get control. Once a location is secured, points are awarded until one team reaches the maximum score to win.

Ubisoft is teasing a big reveal for The Division and the Last Stand DLC. The event will take place on Thursday, January 19th at 8:00 Pacific / 11:00 am Eastern in The Division Twitch channel. Little is known about The Last Stand but it appears to be a series of increasingly difficult waves of enemies.

From today through December 18th, The Division is free to anyone who uses the Uplay platform. The base game is free all weekend, though expansions are not. The offer starts at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern and ends on Monday at 1:00 pm Pacific / 3:00 pm Eastern.

The Division will be updated on Tuesday, November 22nd with the Survival DLC. Survival adds a completely new game mode that pits two dozen players onto the New York City map during a blinding blizzard. As the name implies, they will need to find food, clothing, shelter, medicine all while racing the clock to find a cure for the epidemic crippling the city.

Tom Clancy's The Division will be updated soon with Expansion 2: Survival. To make sure it is ready for public consumption, Survival is now available on the Public Test Server for players to try out and to provide feedback to the development team.

The Division has been updated with the massive v1.4 patch that is a literal game changer, particularly for those who enjoy the single player experience. Nearly every aspect of the game has been touched upon including UI, the gear, missions, incursions and much more.

The Division servers will be coming down on October 25th for the deployment of the v1.4 update that brings a massive number of changes to the game including UI improvements and a huge number of gameplay enhancements. In addition, a new feature called "World Level Tiers" will be added that will allow players to choose what level enemies will be encountered that will also determine the quality of reward gear that is dropped.

As of today, Monday, September 26th, The Division players can check out the big v1.4 update on the now-open public test server. The PTS is available for PC users only and the development team is interested in player feedback and its assistance hunting down bugs.

There are few systems and stats in the upcoming patch for Tom Clancy's The Division that won't be altered in one form or another in order to make the game "feel more like a shooter". The patch will be hitting the Public Test Server on September 26th so that players can see how the changes will affect their currently existing characters.

The latest The Division State of the Game Broadcast has just wrapped up with a frank discussion of a game needing attention. Rather than release the next DLC, Ubisoft and the development team will spend the next couple of months working on hotfixes to address the most pressing issues, and that v1.4, rather than being the Survival DLC, will be a patch dedicated to addressing larger, more encompassing bugs in the game.

Ubisoft Motion Pictures has announced that it will be producing a new movie based on Tom Clancy's The Division and that will star Jessica Chastain and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Ubisoft has released the update notes for The Division: Underground that is scheduled to be released for XBox One and PC on Tuesday, June 28th with release on PlayStation 4 coming August 2nd.
