In the next update to The Crew, players will be able to enjoy a trio of pretty cool things. Speed Trap is a new game mode that will be released on January 25th. Players will be challenged to attain the highest possible speeds driving past radar locations sprinkled throughout the course. On completion, the average speed will be determined from the five recorded.
Photo mode will also be added that will allow players to take screenshots while in FreeDrive that will include the ability to rotate the camera and / or zoom it in or out. In addition, screens can be altered for weather, time of day or to add / take away effects like damage or mud.
Lastly, during The Summit, players will be able to earn an exclusive vehicle by participating in qualifiers throughout the month that can yield a 5% bonus opportunity to win. The bonus is applied for winning any medal in a qualifier. Participating in four qualifiers and earning a medal in each will increase the chance to win the vehicle to 20%.
