Starting today, The Crew 2 is available for a free weekend through April 28th. Players will have full access to the game, including the new content added in the Hot Shots update. Players who try out the game and decide to purchase it can do so with a sweet 70% off the normal price for the base game and 50% off the Season Pass. Any progress attained during the free weekend will be kept if the game is purchased.
The Crew 2 is free to play on all platforms from December 13th to December 17th. The client is, in fact, already available for download. This is a great time to try out the game if you've been on the fence about buying it. Just last week, the Demolition Derby update went live that includes PvP and the chance to race around the track explosively destroying others' vehicles! Sounds like fun!
This weekend, PC players can race in to try out The Crew 2. From today through September 30th, the entire game is free to play, with all maps, vehicles and events available. All progress will be saved and the game itself is 45% off for those who choose to purchase it. Those who wish to try out the game can start preloading now to be fully prepared to race into action. This is a U-Play only event.
During Gamescom 2018, Ubisoft announced that The Crew 2 would be receiving its first major update on September 26th. Called "Gator Rush", the update will be free to all game owners on PlayStation 4, PC and XBox One. Players can look forward to the Hovercraft Discipline, new events and the "heart of the southern swamps". Racers can get hold of three new hovercraft vehicles to take out for a spin on the Bayou.
Ubisoft has announced the details of this weekend's The Crew 2 open beta event. Players in the US in the US will be able to take part in a number of features of the game from Thursday, June 21st through Monday, June 25th. Participants also have a chance to win a Harley Davidson Iron 883 motorcycle too!
Ubisoft has revealed the system specs for The Crew 2 ahead of the start of closed beta testing currently scheduled for May 31st to June 3rd. Registrations for CBT are still open, so if you pass the specs test, you still have time to sign up.
Ubisoft has announced that the closed beta for The Crew 2 will take place from May 31st to June 4th. Interested PC, XBox One and PlayStation 4 players are invited to head to the official site to sign up for a chance to take part in the invite-only CBT. Lucky beta invitees will also be able to invite "up to 3 of their Ubisoft friends to participate in the Closed Beta through the Beta portal".
According to an email posted over at ResetEra.com, PC closed alpha testers are receiving invitations to take part in a closed alpha event that is slated to begin on March 14th and ends on March 19th. Information provided in the email reminds players that they will be under NDA. Players will be able to check out a number of features including vehicle and housing customization, aerobatics, the powerboats, rally raids and street racing.
If you've been looking forward to playing The Crew 2, you may be in luck as Ubisoft has announced that beta registrations are now open. You can register for either PC, PlayStation 4 or XBox One.
Ubisoft has announced that The Crew 2 will be delayed until "the first half of Ubisoft's next fiscal year" that begins April 1, 2018. The original release date was targeting March 16, 2018. The company indicated that this provides the team more time to "fully express their creative vision".
During Gamescom, Ubisoft provided fans of The Crew 2 with some great news. The racing game will be coming to PC, XBox One and PlayStation 4 on March 16, 2018. Additionally, Ubi announced that a beta period will be coming prior to the game's release. Interested fans can head to the official site to register.
