Matt Denomme has taken to the airwaves to talk about the TERA Online console project. In the new video, he details the forthcoming console technical alpha that will be taking place from December 14th through the 18th. While the pool for this particular test will be quite small, a larger test will be conducted in early 2018.

During this weekend's PlayStation Experience in Anaheim, California, attendees will be able to get hands on with the PlayStation 4 version of TERA. Players will see the redesigned user interface designed specifically for consoles. In addition, attendees can take part in contests and earn a chance during special giveaways.

En Masse Entertainment is updating TERA today with the Miniguns content expansion. Among other things, players will be able to get started playing the new Elin Gunner. In addition, it brings in the hard mode for TERA's RK-9 Kennel as well as a game-wide leveling event that will run through January 2nd.

En Masse Entertainment has wrapped up its Pink Power Bundle sale in TERA, a special collection of goodies designed to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Center. Throughout the length of the sale, players helped raise over $3,500 that will be sent to the foundation.

En Masse Entertainment has posted a brief note on the TERA site to let players know that a potential in-game chat vulnerability has been discovered thanks to a Reddit post (since removed) on the TERA Reddit. En Masse is working to investigate the issue and are working closely with the development team to track down and close the potential exploit. However, at this time, "there is no evidence that the vulnerability is being exploited in these way or that any player info has been compromised".

TERA will be getting a big update on November 30th. The update is called Miniguns and brings the Gunner class to Elin characters. A pre-event will be held for aspiring Elin to earn a sweet pink outfit. The event will run from November 22nd through November 30th prior to the Miniguns launch.

TERA players have an opportunity to make an important contribution to breast cancer research by purchasing the Pink Power Pack for 1,495 EMP. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and players will receive some nifty in-game items in thanks for their assistance.

TERA has been updated with the Arsenal patch that brings level 65 players two new dungeons to try out including the Thaumetal Refinery and the RK-9 Kennel. In addition, players will find all new ways to acquire and upgrade gear thanks to an overhaul of the progression system. At level 65, players will go on a quest to receive Guardian gear & accessories. Each of these can then be updated using new materials found in dungeons and battlegrounds and by defeating bosses or finishing quests.

Fall is in the air...the smell of pumpkin spice, the nip of chill in the evenings. It's everywhere including in TERA starting on September 14th. From then through October 10th, you can take part in Rootstock events like the Pigling Rodeo and Kick-Bale. If that's not enough to soothe the autumn beast, head out to Pond Fair to play Drum Away or Hide & Seek. Of course, each area also offers quests, food and even more fun.

Sounds like a win-win proposition, doesn't it? TERA players who start a character and reach level 20 during the Kritika Online open beta will earn "Lady", a pink spirit ground mount. She zips along at 280. If you manage to get to Level 60, you get "Ladylove" that zooms at 280 as well as heals 1% of missing HP and MP per second. The event kicks off on Thursday, August 17th and ends on Thursday, August 31st.

TERA players will definitely want to check in beginning August 15th when en Masse Entertainment debuts a brand new dynamic event called Argon Assault. Players will work to fight off daily invasions of argons during twice-daily events in several locations throughout the game. A new currency will be the reward that can then be exchanged for cosmetic items with a definite "otherworldly" feel to them as well as flying mounts, weapon skins, accessories and enchanting materials.

In case your summer is in the doldrums, En Masse has you covered. TERA has been updated with Dragonsire's Revenge that sees the return of Harrowhold and overhauled dungeons as well as the Blood on the Beach event scheduled to start on July 13th.

Dragonsire's Revenge is the name of the next update coming to TERA. It is set to be deployed on Tuesday, July 11th and will bring with it the return of the Harrowhold 20-player raid dungeon. According to devs, Harrowhold has been adjusted to provide a better challenge and better rewards to participants.

TERA players will be pleased to hear that the Blue Box event being held in celebration of the game's fifth anniversary will be extended to Monday, June 5th. In addition, the Anniversary Shop has been updated for a "blow out" sale".

En Masse Entertainment is celebrating TERA's fifth anniversary in a big way, not the least of which by previewing some of the game's dungeons. In this latest installment, readers get a look at the Abscess. Starting today, May 15th, and running through May 22nd, players completing the Abscess have a chance at some pretty nifty loot.
