Frogster Product Management Director Daniel Ullrich took to the official TERA forums with an open letter to the community. Ulrich takes on the concerns that have been expressed with regard to Frogster's contract to publish TERA in Europe.

Ullrich begins the letter by thanking the community for the feedback regarding any aspect of TERA's development or concerns about its publication. From there he moves on to answer some of the more hotly contested issues with specific regard to Frogster's involvement:

  1. Frogster will be publishing TERA in Europe under a pay-to-play model just as EnMasse will be publishing TERA under a subscription model in the US.
  2. While Frogster has no intention of changing or altering the game in any fashion in Europe, Ulrich acknowledges that it will have to abide by the laws of the countries in which TERA is released as would any publisher.
  3. Frogster intends to put the most state-of-the-servers online in Europe. Frogster is working closely with BlueHole to ensure that the best, fastest, most reliable servers are brought online for Europe so that the gaming experience is equal to that of North America.
  4. Frogster will have 24/7 customer support with a team dedicated only to TERA.

You can read the letter on the official TERA forums and check out the fan reaction.

What do you think about the letter? Are you reassured? Let us know!
