The Crab Hunt event is live now in TERA through June 30.
Until then, it looks like crabs have taken over the shores of Ostgarath in preparation of some sort of attack. It’s up to you to stop them from this impending attack. Crabs will show up at both high tied and at low tide. The times for these tides are as follows:
- PC: 1600 – 1900 UTC / 0300 – 0600 UTC
- Console NA: 1600 –1900 UTC / 0300 – 0600 UTC
- Console EU: 0900 –1200 UTC / 2000 – 2300 UTC
- Console JP: 0000 – 0300 UTC / 1100 – 1400 UTC
As the event progresses, the reinforcements of crabs will become more and more difficult to quell. For example, tomorrow, June 23, will see giant crabs assaulting the Serpentis Isle beaches. The team also announced a crafting project for the event. When you’re hunting down the crabs, you can collect certain materials.
Using these materials, you create the Deep Blue Head Shrimp Crate, which is specific to this event. To help you out, when you log in, you’ll receive the Head Shrimp Kit. In order to complete the crate, you’ll need materials from small crabs, medium crabs, and giant crabs. In addition to materials, the crabs will drop gems, potions, and enchanting materials.
