Players who enjoy Final Fantasy XIV for it's position as a less stressful MMO experience may be surprised to hear that game director Naoki Yoshida (otherwise known as Yoshi-P) has expressed regrets over making the game so comfortable over the years.

A tradition continues in April, as Final Fantasy XIV's next 14-hour broadcast stream is coming to mark the 10th anniversary.

With the last update to Final Fantasy XIV, the team made some changes to the Pandaemonium Abyssos: The Eighth Circle Savage raid, changes that have left some in the community questioning exactly why this was made. According to Yoshi-P in a post on the FFXIV, basically, maths.

To say Final Fantasy XIV is popular would be an understatement. Since earlier this year, the MMORPG has had a huge influx of players jumping into Eorzea, congesting the servers. With the recent release of Endwalker, this has only intensified, leading Square Enix to once again pull the MMO from sale to stem the tide of players joining in and slamming the servers beyond capactiy.

Anticipation and expectations are high for Endwalker, the latest expansion in Final Fantasy 14, which releases this November. We sat down with the game's director, Naoki Yoshida, to talk about the MMO and what to expect with Endwalker moving forward.

If you've been following Final Fantasy 14 even within just the last month, you might notice that the MMO's common areas feel a little bit...crowded. This is thanks to a multitude of factors, but FFXIV is seeing great population growth in the wake of it. Today, Naoki Yoshida, the MMO's producer, took to the official website to address this trend.
