Torchlight: Infinite will launch Season 4: Whispering Mist, on April 18th, with special previews ahead of time to detail everything you can expect from the ARPG's next big update.

Torchlight: Infinite has launched its Season 3 preseason, Hunter's Odyssey, with a new map, new preseason gear, and more to lead into the new season. 

The City of Aeterna, the new season for Torchlight: Infinite starts later today. The new update introduces a new hero, a new zone, a new hero trait for Gemma, new season pass and of course, a new boss. There are also a number of optimizations and improvements to give players more options.

XD has peeled back the layers to reveal tons of details about The City of Aeterna, the next Torchlight: Infinite season coming September 7th. Meet the new hero, Iris and her spirit magi, new loot, and even a fiery new trait for Gemma.

Season 2 for Torchlight: Infinite, will start in early September with the launch of the big Season 2 update, The City of Aeterna. XD is set to preview the full patch later this month.

Today, Torchlight: Infinite launches globally on PC and mobile with new features, post-beta updates, and the start of a new season. 

Starting today, Torchlight: Infinite will put free to play players on one side against streamer Rich Campbell in a speedrun challenge that puts a spin on that question of whether free to play players have a chance against those who spend money on games.

The third and final closed beta test for Torchlight: Infinite is coming next week. This closed beta features new story, gear, and bosses to test out and will also support the PC version for the first time.

After a somewhat disappointing Torchlight III the franchise has found a new developer, new platforms, and according to the latest developer blog, some new gameplay! With the Closed Beta test on its way, the team at XD has introduced some new features, but has stated they will need to delay the test by a few more days in late April.

It's no secret that Torchlight Infinite impressed us in the first Closed Beta Test. Despite some fun gameplay there were certainly a number of things that needed work, and the team at XD Entertainment has been listening. They've recently posted some updates to skills as well as other areas they intend to address before Closed Beta 2 begins later this year.
