The first big update, Ghost Galleon, has hit Witchfire. Though the game is still in Early Access, the update brings a plethora of new content for players to conquer. 

The Astronauts announced today during Summer Game Fest that their upcoming roguelite dark fantasy shooter, Witchfire, is hitting Early Access on September 20th.

A new short story, "The Preyer" gives insight into the lore of Witchfire, and the team also showcases some horror-inspired themed works.

Originally set for Early Access later this year, Witchfire will now open that in early 2023. This is after the dev team decided to rework a major element.

Witchfire,  which has been in development since 2017, has been announced as an Epic Games Store exclusive for Early Access later this year.
