Sony has set the next date for its first State of Play in 2024, with the company giving a peek at the year for PlayStation in 2024.

Sony will host a special PlayStation State of Play stream tomorrow that will showcase over 20 minutes of new gameplay footage from Final Fantasy XVI. 

Final Fantasy XVI, the next major installment in the iconic franchise, debuted a new trailer during today's State of Play Presentation by Sony. The new trailer shows off a ton of action combat for the upcoming JRPG, as well as announces a summer 2023 release window.

As what is now being dubbed as "Not-E3" kicks into gear today, PlayStation gets out ahead of the pack with their State of Play presentation. Here are the big announcements from today's presentation.

The upcoming open-world RPG set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, Hogwarts Legacy, is getting one of its first looks at gameplay this week. Set for March 17th on a special PlayStation State of Play, Warner Bros and Avalanche are showcasing the upcoming game set in the 1800s.

Earlier at Son'y "State of Play," Chinese Developer MiHoYo showed off a trailer of its upcoming open world RPG, Genshin Impact. The upcoming title will be hitting this Autumn 2020.
