Layoffs continue to rock the industry, as the latest round comes from Singularity 6, the developer responsible for the cozy MMO Palia.
Today, Palia launches on Steam and gets a big new update, with a new temple to explore, improved new player experience, new cosmetics, and a giant Frogbert Plushie to collect.
Palia's March update is on the way, and will coincide with the game's Steam launch on March 25th. The team previewed the new temple, new decor items, and more on the way in the patch, and gave a glimpse at future features in development.
Singularity 6 has revealed that, ahead of its Steam launch, the total number of players across all platforms so far has reached three million.Â

 The latest Palia update brings the Luna New Year holiday event, which also brings back the Maji Market. There are new recipes, new furniture items, placeable Starstones, and even a new, previously hinted-at romance option.
