We've been following Star Vaults difficult launch of Mortal Online 2 over the past couple weeks, and needless to say, things have not gone well. Players have continuously had issues transitioning from Haven to Myrland, and Star Vault has had trouble getting a fix in place, even after numerous patches, a rollback, and several server reboots.
Yesterday Final Fantasy XIV went back on sale for the first time in weeks as well as a new data center. Additionally, server transfers are open, though as a result the Square Enix team cautioned to players that they are experiencing high volume as a result.
Now that New World has officially past its initial new game surge, and free server transfers are available for all players, some in the community have requested that, instead of free transfers, New World should begin server merges. The thread went on to speak about the possibility of a server cap increase, and when players might expect such a change to take place.Â
Final Fantasy 14 has seen an influx of new players the last few weeks, and in so doing have caused Square Enix to pull back the amount of digital codes available on the official website.
