It looks like a presentation is reportedly in store this week with Microsoft and Bethesda discussing the recent acquisition of the latter by the former.

Xbox's Phil Spencer officially welcomed the ZeniMax Media team, the parent company of studios like Bethesda Softworks and ESO dev ZeniMax Online Studios, to the Microsoft family. This comes a day after the European Commission greenlit Microsoft's acquisition of the gaming company in the largest merger in video game industry history.

The European Commission has approved the sale of ZeniMax Media to technology giant Microsoft, clearing one of the few hurdles left for the Washington-based company to acquire ZeniMax and the companies under its umbrella, including Bethesda Softworks.

It looks like Microsoft officially got one step closer to finishing its acquisition of ZeniMax as the SEC has cleared the deal today.
