ArenaNet has released their long list of patch notes that coincides with the Guild Wars 2: Jormag Rising release. As is par for the course with ArenaNet patches, there are a number of items added and changed, in addition to the Jormag Rising content that come in the form of bug fixes, skill balances, and new promotions and items.
Today marks the release of Guild Wars 2's fourth episode of the Icebrood Saga, Jormag Rising, which expands Drizzlewood Coast, and adds some new, dangerous events. Drizzlewood Coast was originally released with the third episodes release, No Quarter, which introduced the premise of siege warfare, which previously only resided in WvWvW, to a PvE map. In Jormag Rising, ArenaNet doubles down on that premise.
In a video released today on Guild Wars 2's official site, the voice talent banded together to talk about the progress of lending their voices to the new Jormag Rising content set to release in a few short weeks. The reason for Jormag Rising releasing without the voiceover talent was attributed to the ongoing pandemic, and safety concerns of having their voice talent in-studio to record their parts.
