EVE Frontier Founder Access opens up today, letting those hungry to jump into CCP's new survival sandbox access to a 24/7 closed alpha server. 

During an event last month, Ryan learned more about what CCP Games is planning with its upcoming game, EVE Frontier. After talking with CEO Hilmar Petursson, he left excited about the idea, but with with some reservations about the technology and guardrails surrounding the title.

EVE Frontier's next playtest is coming later this week, with a new Phase V test and some brand-new rewards.

CCP Games has revealed EVE Frontier, the official title for its single-shard sandbox previously codenamed Project Awakening, along with new details.
