The day has finally arrived for those awaiting the full release of Escape From Tarkov: Arena, but for those who never got an invite to the beta or owned Escape from Tarkov: Edge of Darkness, there is a bit of an uproar on the horizon.
Escape from Tarkov: Arena's closed beta is here, bringing the incredibly complex mechanics of Tarkov to a more bite-sized arena shooter. Invites have started to go out from developer Battlestate Games, who showcased the game this weekend during Dreamhack.
Extraction shooter Escape from Tarkov is launching a stand-alone Arena mode that takes the hardcore gameplay from Tarkov proper and puts it into a fast-paced arena shooter. Bradford went hands-on and talked with Battlestate Games about it during TwitchCon last month.
