Cold Iron has announced new narrative content coming for Aliens: Fireteam Elite by way of the new Pathogen DLC coming on August 30th. There's also free content coming, including crossplay and a new roguelike-inspired hardcore mode.

Season 2 of Aliens: Fireteam Elite is coming for players with new cosmetics, weapons, a new game mode and even more. On top of that, GamePass members will be happy to know that the survival shooter is coming to Xbox GamePass on December 14th.

The EG7 drama looks like it's not letting up, with Daybreak looking like it may have sold Cold Iron Studios.

The Alien franchise is full of hits and misses. The first two movies of the franchise? Hits. The third? Miss. The prequels and sequels since then have also been a mixed bag. And the video games based on the franchise follow suit. Aliens: Fireteam Elite has got a release date, with Cold Iron Studios aiming for an August 24th release.

Cold Iron Studios' Aliens: Fireteam was announced earlier this month, and you can get your first look at the title in action thanks to a 25 minute gameplay walkthrough over on IGN.

Daybreak's Cold Iron Studios revealed their upcoming co-op shooter, Aliens: Fireteam. The game, being made in collaboration with 20th Century Games, is set in the Aliens universe.

Today it was announced that Daybreak Games has acquired Cold Iron Studios, which is currently working on a cross platform game set in the Alien universe. The undisclosed game in question will continue its development despite the acquisition.
