BioWare today officially announced that their upcoming refresh of Anthem, also called Anthem Next, was ceasing. Development resources are being funneled to BioWare's other projects, including the next Dragon Age and Mass Effect titles, as well as helping out with updates to their MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Per a report by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, Electronic Arts will decide what they plan to do with their looter-shooter, Anthem, this week.

In a new BioWare blog, the team provided a new update on Anthem, specifically touching on loot.
