Sword Coast Legends' multiplayer component is a (up to) five player experience set in the classic Dungeons and Dragons region of the Sword Coast. Or if you prefer, Neverwinter, Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale can all call the Sword Coast home. Classic Dungeons and Dragons. Dare I say, proper Dungeons and Dragons? That I'll leave up to dyed in the wool D&D fans to debate.
n-Space and Digital Extremes have announced that Sword Coast Legends will be released for PC, Mac and Linux on September 29th, with console versions to follow later in 2015. This is a slight delay from the originally scheduled release announced for September 8th.

The Sword Coast Legends team will be hosing a brand new live stream on Thursday, July 2nd at 12:00 Pacific / 3:00 Eastern. The stream will take a look at the recent E3 demo that includes a fantastic preview of the included dungeon master tools.

The Sword Coast Legends site has been updated with the release date. Fans of the forthcoming D&D-based title can look forward to September 8th when the game becomes available.
Award winning composer, Inon Zur, is on tap to create the score for Sword Coast Legends. Zur is known for musical compositions from games that include Dragon Age: Origins, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Icewind Dale II, Fallout 3, EverQuest and others.
The Sword Coast Legends site has been updated with a new companion profile. This time Belamy Lightfingers takes center stage. He is a Halfling warrior with a particular bent for aggressive tactics. The post further goes into detail about the Halfling race including cultural aspects and physical appearances.
The Sword Coast Legends team has released a pair of background biographies on two of the companions that will be featured in Sword Coast Legends, Illydia, an elven cleric and Larethar Gulgrin, a gold dwarf rogue.
