From April 5th through April 12th, Star Trek Online players will be celebrating "First Contact Day". The event marks the first time humans and Vulcans encountered one another. Players will head off to Bozeman, Montana to construct their own replica of the Phoenix, the first "Human warp-capable ship".
Players will scavenge for parts that can be used with a basic hull assembly to make their won model of the Phoenix. Leftover pieces can be used to "improve on the pieces they've assembled". Then all captains will head to the silo to launch their models. The one whose goes the highest is declared the winner.
Players will also be able to unlock the Bozeman Hyper-Impulse Engines account wide and can get hold of a Phoenix Holo Emitter.
