A Dozen Original Deep Space Nine Cast Members Reprising Roles in Victory is Life

The next Star Trek Online expansion is called "Victory is Life" and takes place in the Deep Space Nine timeline. Cryptic Studios has announced that twelve of the original television series cast members are being reunited to reprise their roles in the expansion. 

The full cast list includes:

  • Alexander Siddig as Doctor Julian Bashir, former Chief Medical Officer of Deep Space Nine.
  • Andrew Robinson as Councilor Elim Garak, formerly “just a simple tailor” and covert operative for Cardassia.
  • Armin Shimerman as Quark, DS9’s resident Ferengi entrepreneur and bartender.
  • Aron Eisenberg as Captain Nog, the first Ferengi to join Starfleet, who grew up on DS9.
  • Bumper Robinson who appeared as the teenage Jem’Hadar in the landmark episode, “The Abandoned” and will play Elder First Dukan Rex.
  • Jeffrey Combs as Weyoun (a cunning Vorta diplomat) and Brunt (a Liquidator of the Ferengi Commerce Authority).
  • J.G. Hertzler as General Martok, hero of the Klingon Empire.
  • Max Grodénchik as Grand Nagus Rom, leader of the Ferengi, brother to Quark and father to Nog.
  • Chase Masterson as Leeta, former Bajoran dabo girl and wife of Ferengi Grand Nagus Rom.
  • Nana Visitor as Kira Nerys, Kai of the Bajoran people.
  • René Auberjonois as Odo, former Chief of Security at DS9, who is now a Dominion Ambassador.
  • Salome Jens as the Female Changeling, one of the Founders of the Dominion.

Prior to the launch of Victory is Life in June, players can take part in a month's worth of cool events. These include:

  • The Cruise Contest - Players can enter a contest to win a 6-day Star Trek-themed Caribbean cruise or SteelSeries gear
  • Faction Allegiance Campaign - Each week in May will feature one of the game's factions with players taking to social media to win faction-specific contests for in-game prizes

Victory is Life takes players on Star Trek Online’s maiden journey to the Gamma Quadrant, where they will team up with crew members from Deep Space Nine to battle the Hur’q. The expansion introduces a brand new Jem’Hadar playable faction, increased level cap, seven new episodes, new queue, added progression system and all-new Sector Battlezone. Additional details on gameplay features will be revealed at launch.
