The second beta event for Skyforge has begun as of today, Wednesday, March 25th. There was no server wipe thus allowing players in the first event to continue their character's progress. In addition, four new classes have been announced as becoming available during this beta cycle, though it was confirmed that several players unlocked them in the first event.
The latest Skyforge class is now a matter of public record with the latest trailer release. The Lightbinder is a support class that is essential in any battle. Lightbinders have the ability to buff compatriots and can weaken enemies with debuffs. The key to Lightbinder success is avoiding direct contact with the enemy. The second closed beta phase for Skyforge will be heading out on March 25th. Players will have a lot of new content to try out with four new classes to unlock, a new 5-player dungeon, an open world location on Naori Island, an 8v8 "superiority" PvP mode, and something called the Nedder Test Area.

Skyforge, part of a joint development initiative between Allods Team and Obsidian with My.com as the publisher, recently hit closed beta status. Skyforge is an MMORPG where players develop from newly christened immortals into full-on gods among men. They will gain mortal followers and powers along the way. Empowered by the faith and skill of their followers, they'll battle invading armies in intense action combat to protect their homeworld. This is your first 30 minutes in the game, covering the basic tutorial and character customization.
The Skyforge team has posted that they are investigating a series of issues preventing players from connecting to the closed beta servers. Players are getting a "107 error" and "Error 2" or are simply being told that they are "disconnected from the server". The SF team is working on solving the issues and we will keep you posted when it appears that most, if not all, are cleared up.
The Skyforge team will be on hand today in a live stream event to show off the Berserker class and the Thais Temple. The Twitch broadcast is expected to kick off at 11:30 am Pacific / 2:30 pm Eastern in the Skyforge channel.
