Love is in the air in Skyforge with today's launch of the annual Valentine's Day event. Scheduled to run through March 1st, players can literally discover the Dark Side of Love by receiving bouquets from a love-struck Dryad as you travel throughout the game world. In return, she can gift you with rewards and even more goodies if you respond to her letters.

Aelion is bathed in the holiday spirit and Skyforge players are invited to partake in the goodness of the season. Immortals and Gods can receive daily prizes just for logging in. These can contain wings and offer discounts.

The Skyforge site has been updated with a new developer diary that informs players that the Council of Gods political system is going to be delayed for an indeterminate amount of time. During development, the team felt that the mechanisms and systems being put into place would not meet player expectations for Council of Gods and that it will be rebuilt from scratch.

Skyforge players will be able to take part in the annual Evil Pumpkin Festival starting October 27th and through November 11th. Players will meet holiday-themed creatures that drop candy rewards that can then be exchanged for costumes and musical instruments. In addition, the ability to play tricks on friends will also be part of the celebration.

Skyforge players can now dive into the game to try out the massive changes that have arrived with today's deployment of the Ascension expansion. Players can now try out a demo version of the Council of Gods, try their hands at defeating a new boss and much, much more.

The Skyforge site has been updated with a closer look at the game's newest class, the Outlaw. The developer diary goes into detail about the lore behind the Outlaw as well as examines each of the character's abilities. The Outlaw can be purchased as part of its special Collector's Edition for $34.99.

The Skyforge site has been updated with a new blog post that will bring some great news to players. Starting with the Ascension expansion, weekly caps will be lifted in order to stop limiting character's development.

Skyforge players will be pleased to hear that the Ascension expansion will officially launch on October 19th. Pre-patching of the Skyforge client will start on October 5th.

Skyforge players wanting to take part in a new MOBA-styled PvP mode will definitely want to check out the Golem Battle mode just introduced into the game. On this dedicated map, there are two buildings with teams of five attempting to both protect their own "Repeater" and to destroy the enemy team's.

The Skyforge team has been analyzing player data and soliciting feedback for the past year. With today's announcement of the Ascension expansion, much of that feedback and analysis is being put into practice. Existing systems have been reworked and new features will be added with Ascension.

Skyforge has been updated with the Battle of Equals content patch that brings a new PvP tournament on board. Over the next several weeks, players will be duking it out in "normalized" 3v3 matches putting players on equal footing during the fight.

Skyforge is turning one year old and developers are pulling out all the stops to give players a fun event to help celebrate. From July 13th to July 27th, players can take part in activities, grab some gifts and much more.

Skyforge will get getting its next update of significance on July 20th when the Battle of Equals is released. In addition, the development team will be providing lots of fun activities to celebrate the game's first anniversary late in July.
