Shroud of the Avatar is entering its 31st monthly release, and the last before final wipe. Construction signs are everywhere, the sound of industrious labor fills the air, and a temple takes form from the once barren slab. Temples are hollow caves of stone without gods to power them, though. As avatars wait in anticipation, Red Thomas makes his pilgrimage to Austin and finds out if this monument will be on time and move-in ready.
In the latest Shroud of the Avatar letter, the dev team lays out an overhauled Solace Bridge found in the Path of Love tutorial area. The diary reveals that monsters in this particular section had been largely ignored and that the reworked version that will no longer happen. Feeling that combat is best learned through active participation with things attempting to kill players, the now twelve zombies will be doing their best to do so.
The Shroud of the Avatar team has sent notice that the final wipe of persistent player data will be handled prior to the release of Update 32. From that point forward, the world will become a persistent place, though it is not to be confused with the game's final release.
