Shadowrun: Hong Kong Overview
Shadowrun: Hong Kong is a standalone tactical RPG in the Shadowrun series, taking place in the Awakened Hong Kong in 2056. The game was Kickstarter-funded, folllowing similarly successful crowdfunding for Shadowrun Returns.
Taking place among the world of triads, cybertech, magic, and gangs, the culture of Hong Kong is highly influenced by "guanxi", a system where networking and status, relationships, and accumulation of a certain prestige, all matter. Yet Hong Kong also faces a serious threat as well in the form of a corrupting force that might just consume the whole place unless you can navigate the shadows, the networks, and figure how to survive.
