The Secret World site has been updated with a brief look at some of the interesting new features that will come to the game with the arrival of Issue #12. Among other things, players will have a new dungeon to explore that lies underneath the Orochi Towers.
Players can look forward to a new Challenge system that includes new dailies and seven weekly challenges that will earn some nice rewards in the end.
As there are several different tokens in the game, all will be combined into a single currency called Black Bullion that can be used in Missions, Dungeons, PvP or Scenarios etc. In addition, Marks of the Pantheon are being introduced that can be used to improve Weapons and Talismans.
The social window will look all new as well and will facilitate players finding others progressing along the same quests and challenges.
Massive New Bosses
You will be able to battle brutal world bosses without taking part in any special event. The final challenge in the Lair system is no longer the Eidolon, but instead three huge bosses from each of the main regions of the game.
You can take on The Abyssopelagic Horror in the Savage Coast, Kenememti the Fear Eater in the Scorched Desert and Bunica Padurii in the Shadowy Forest. These brutal bosses do not only give those who spawn them Epic Signets, but will also grant good loot (a Rare Signet and possibly even better) to anyone else who helps defeat them!
