Dawn of the Morninglight Story Expansion to Launch on April 4th

Funcom has announced that Secret World Legends will be expanding on April 4th with new story content called Dawn of the Morninglight. New content will see players sent off to South Africa, a completely new location in the game, as they work to infiltrate a cult compound. Content includes a "brand new fully-voice acted storyline where they must battle creatures inspired by ancient South African folklore and uncover the sinister truths of the Morninglight cult".


The Agent Network Arrives After Today's Update

With Secret World Legends servers back online, players can now head into the game to check out the new Agent System. Players will be able to send NPCs out on missions and collect rewards. Achievements will be earned for completing missions at certain benchmarks.


Basics of the Agent System Revealed by Community Manager Andy Benditt

Funcom Community Manager Andy Benditt took to Facebook earlier this week to provide some of the first information about the Agent System that is coming to Secret World Legends. Using the system, players can find and recruit NPCs through the use of dossiers that provide useful information including a biography, stats and traits as well as "Agent Support Abilities. Each Agent has two passive abilities that can provide a buff to players who can "equip" up to three agents at a time.


No Limits Weekend Begins Today - Leave Your Keyring at Home

Secret World Legends is running a special weekend event that begins today and runs through January 28th. During the No Limits Weekend, chests can be opened without keys. This includes all dungeon, lair and scenario chests that can all contain "sweet, sweet loot".


Krampusnacht  Descends with Achievements, Legends & a Free Pet

Secret World Legends has been updated with the latest patch that brings the Krampusnacht winter event into the game that will run through January 2nd. "Defend the world from an icy invasion in groups and hourly public raids! Earn new daily login rewards, including a free pet -- just for logging in! Exclusive seasonal achievements, legends, and cosmetics abound. Happy holidays!"


Anima Allocation Allows You to Customize Your Character to Your Heart's Content

The Secret World Legends site has been updated with an interesting new post to introduce players to the new Anima Allocation system. Starting at level 20, players will be able to customize and modify stats in order to fulfill the role they see themselves in, but with minute tweaks to offer more utility.


Samhain 2017 Arrives with New Trailer & Much More

Secret World Legends players will be able to take part in this year's Halloween event. Samhain will be running from today through October 31st and comes packed with exclusive mounts, pets and costumes. In addition, players can take part in a themed public raid and new missions. It sounds like a great time for all!


Link Up with SWL And Get Awesome Stuff as Funcom Celebrates Community

Funcom is celebrating and growing its Secret World Legends community by asking fans to subscribe to social media channels. By way of thanks, players can score a Cerulean Eagle (Twitter), a Pajama Onesie Outfit (Twitch), a Modern Cowhand Outfit (Facebook) and the Grim Glamor Mummy (Google).


After Server Maintenance, Orochi Tower & Kantoku Temple Come Online

After today's maintenance, Secret World Legends will be updated with new content for players. Both the Orochi Tower and the brand new Kantoku Temple Lair will come online as well as improvements to the daily reward system. Today also marks the cessation of the Future-Tech cache drops, but these will be replaced by the Haunted Cache.


Tokyo Part 2 Released with New Content & a New Area

Secret World Legends has been updated with the second part of the Tokyo content expansion. Called "Beyond the Wall", the update brings a new storyline and quests to players as well as an entirely new location, Kaidan Docks, to explore.


New York's Manhattan Exclusion Zone Raid Arrives

It's time to travel to the Big Apple in Secret World Legends as it is now open to all players. Most notably, players will be able to take part in the 10-player raid instance called the Manhattan Exclusion Zone. Any player at level 50 can start the investigation of a series of events around Times Square in New York that sees the Unutterable Lurker make a reappearance.


Second Round of Legacy Transfers Coming Soon

The Secret World Legends site has been updated with an announcement that a second round of "legacy" transfers will be coming in mid- to late-September. If you have an account in The Secret World, you can transfer your character's clothing, sprints, pets and emotes directly into Secret World Legends. This round of transfers comes with a caveat, however. Only those who have used the service before, meaning get yourself busy before September 4th in order to get more later in the month.


Players Buying Marks of Favor from 3rd Party Vendors Banned

According to a new post on the Secret World Legends Facebook page, a number of player accounts have been suspended from the game after purchasing Marks of Favor from third party vendors. According to the article, "these third party sellers offer [currency] that comes from purchases made with stolen payment information". As a result, Funcom is taking a zero tolerance stance against players utilizing services such as these.


Buy-By-Inspect Option Addresses Clothing Shop Display Bug

The Secret World Legends community is truly one of a kind in the online gaming space these days. One of the ties that binds players together is the vast array of clothing options available in game. Due to a shop bug, more than a few items are not displayed in stores. Thanks to community member "Varynthia", there is a work around called the "Buy by Inspect" option.


Nagging Issues Marring Tokyo Launch

The Secret World Legends Facebook page has been updated with a brief note to let players know that the team is aware of some nagging issues with today's opening of Tokyo. Some players are reporting missing .dll dependencies that can be fixed with a Microsoft download. The other is the inability for players to get to Tokyo for which there is no solution at the present time.
