Rare has released the launch trailer for the next DLC coming to Sea of Thieves. Called "Forsaken Shores", the DLC opens up a new region in SoT called the Devil's Roar. It features new threats and challenges including super-heated water, hailstorms of burning rocks, volcanoes, exploding geysers and more. These new elemental effects are sure to challenge even the heartiest of sailors.


Developer Vlog Arrives with Free Cursed Sails Content Update

Sea of Thieves players can now sail into the game to take part in the Cursed Sails update, the game's second free update since launch. In the latest Developer update, Executive Producer Joe Neate takes the helm to talk Cursed Sails that brings skeleton ships, the Brigantine, Alliances and everything else you can expect when you log in.

Developer Update: July 11th 2018

Sea of Thieves Executive Producer Joe Neate is back with the latest Developer Update for the game. Neate begins with a discussion of the latest build that was deployed earlier today and contains some stability fixes, eliminated a cannonball knockback that could injure a player's own crew and more. In addition, a new Bilgerat Adventure called the Sunken Curse has been added that "is intended to get you to explore underwater".


Inn-Side Story #28: Campaigns and Content

The latest Inn-Side Story has been released with Sea of Thieves' Executive Producer Joe Neate and Design Director Mike Chapman. In this episode, the pair discuss the upcoming content expansion, The Hungering Deep, as well as future plans for new features, campaigns and new ways to play.


The Hungering Deep Content Expansion to Launch May 29th

Sea of Thieves players will finally get a proper content expansion with the launch of The Hungering Deep. The new update is expected to launch on May 29th and comes with new things to do "in a kind of cool, fun, slightly different way" that will involve players working together to solve puzzles.
