The Rare team is aback with the latest Sea of Thieves Inn-Side Story. This time, Lead Character Artist Sam Chester and Windows 10 Design Lead Ted Timmins dive into the topic of customization for both pirates (YARR!) and ships.
The discussion begins with the news of the "Infinite Pirate Generator" which, according to Chester, is a way to get a cool character in the game without a million sliders and toggles. Players use a "carousel" to choose the perfect character with deeper customization once clothing, weapons and accessories are applied.
Ship customization sends players to shipwrights to change sails, anchors, bowsprits and more to best represent themselves.
