Senior Designer Andrew Preston and Senior Software Engineer Tom Berry have taken to the airwaves to talk about the skeleton forts coming in Sea of Thieves. As players adventure through the world, a giant skull cloud will show up in the sky to attract pirates across the seas.
Players will have to face off against "lots of skeletons just wandering around" on their way into the fort itself. As the adventure progresses, players will fight skeletons inside the fortress, though new waves can spawn outside the fort as well. The encounter itself will require tactical play in order to defeat it.
