Rare has revealed the first details of the Sea of Thieves Day 1 update that is quite literally...a patch or, more accurately, an eye patch for players because what good is a PIRATE without an eyepatch? One savvy Redditor noticed that the SoT clothing shop has an eye patch with DAY 1 scrawled on it. The eyepatch description reads, "A message in a bottle from Jolly Jefabell washed ashore. Eye patch makers read it and said 'aye."
