Frogster has announced that the latest Runes of Magic expansion, Fires of Shadowforge, has officially launched as of today. The expansion comes packed with a level cap increase, two new zones, new dungeons and a new playable race.
The Runes of Magic team has finally revealed more about the Shadowforge Dwarves, a race that will arrive with the forthcoming Fires of Shadowforge content expansion. The information centers around the homeland of the Shadowforge Dwarves, Kingdom of Taffrock.
The Frogster dev team is revving up to the forthcoming Runes of Magic update, Fires of the Shadowforge and has blown the cover off of the two new classes that will ship with the update: The Champion and the Warlock.
Frogster and Kalydo have announced that the browser-based version of Runes of Magic is now in official release. The browser version of RoM is the same version that desktop players enjoy but can be played on any browser, any time, anywhere.
Frogster has announced that the fifth Runes of Magic chapter will debut in June 2012. Included in the Fires of Shadowforge announcement is the news that a new playable race will be included as well as "a choice between two original new arcane classes -- Sorcerer and Champion".
Runes of Magic servers will be updated today with the latest patch. Among the patch notes is the news that the Flower Festival will be arriving in game as well as the new Magic Wardrobe System.
Runes of Magic can now be played via browsers. The new site for beta version of browser-based RoM is now live. The beta is scheduled to run through January 9th.
Runes of Magic players will want to check out the Ancient Dreamland, a new event that has just started. The Ancient Dreamland will be open from December 22nd through January 3rd and is packed with quests and adventure.
Frogster has announced that it is in the process of deploying the latest patch to the game which will bring the annual Snowflake Festival online for all Runes of Magic players.
The Runes of Magic team has announced that the latest update has been successfully deployed. Called 'Souls of the Past', the patch introduces players to a new zone and a new high-level raid dungeon.
