Non Fan Boy review

RODE un biosed review
Disclaimer: The following article is the sole opinion of its author and does not represent in its thoughts or opinions. This is not an official editorial article.

Lets cover the basics:

1.  Character creation

2. Character Graphics

3. Terrain Graphics

Character Creation: Although the character models are nice and the graphics are appealing for them, the selection you are given to change different featues seems limited.

Graphics were ran all maxed out highest settings for everything -

Character Graphics:  This is probably the only thing in this game that stands out above everything else.  The Character Graphics are very detailed but compared to the market are very similar to such games as Aika and Shaiya which have been out for years. = DATED

Terrain Graphics:  Extremely Dated = Comparable to LoTro, original Guild Wars, Shaiya or older graphics.

Cut scenes were impressive and a welcome feature.

Questing - The questing system is very linear and can at times be very confusing and misleading. at higher levels 20+ it starts to feel like a major grind.

Movement Mechanics - Mind you this game focuses on PVP so it is very important that movement and mechanics meet the standards.  Unfortunately they fall very short of games that already focus on PVP, Allods, Aika, and Shaiya just to mention a few.  The Movement mechanics feel clunky, unresponsive and dated absolutely ackward for PVP.

PVP - extremely dated and clunky if you are melee because of the above mentioned movement mechanics..

The only thing that makes this game different from a dated 5-10 year old game is that the character graphics are BARELY better....

They give dragon pet that you raise and dragon mounts, ability to battle on your mounts...

Lets talk about battle on mounts... The above mentioned clunky un responsive movement mechanic is multiplied while on a mount making the entire experience frustrating and ackward... Awesome potential but horribly executed.

Being a 2012 release I feel this game is another low budget cookie cutter with very little to offer over current market standards. Especially since other games on the market offer the above mentioned with better polish such as,  ALLODS, Aika, Shaiya and many others are far better then this.

ok I participated in the first closed beta test in excitement and I did win a pizza.

In conclusion This game feels dated at best.  The controls feel like something we played 7-10 years ago let alone the graphics of the terrain are worse then LoTro.  Are the graphics good for character? They are decent but when you combine horrible questing system and completely unacceptable player control mechanics this game is the biggest disappointment I've seen in a long time.

WHY you might ask am I being so hard on this review?

Lets not fool ourselves and be realistic about the time we are in it is 2012 and there are tons of games making the standard of the industry already on the market and ones coming this year.  Allods, Aika, Shaiya, LoTro, D&D Online, Warhammer Online, Guild Wars all free to play.

what games are being released this year?  Guild Wars 2!!! are you freaking kidding me? you are trying to release a game that is so dated and clunky compared on the only basis of having dragons as pets and mounts?  adding it all up it doesn't compete.

Please don't take my word for it, Test it for yourself and compare you too will see..

Final Score

 Dragon Mount
 Dragon Pet
 Character graphics
 Clunky Mechanics
 Camera Mechanics
 PVP + robotic movement mechanics...
 Terrain Graphics dated
Compared to market its a waste of time...
