Trion Worlds has changed the name of Rift 4.0, aka Starfall Prophecy, to Prophecy of Ahnket. The change came about after the company learned of a children's charity called the Starfall Education Foundation and renamed the expansion to avoid confusion. To celebrate the new moniker, Trion is giving Prophecy of Ahnket away for free simply for logging in between May 10th and May 14th.
During the "Free Expansion Weekend", players will also receive a Prophecy of Ahnket Cache for one character on the account that can contain a number of nifty in-game items:
- 2 Tenebrean Engines (this will help progress your Eternal Item quest)
- 100 Phenomenal Sparkles (Patron-only quest items that help you earn a piece of high level gear every month)
- 10 Individual Reward Charges (used to claim great gear drops in our raids)
- 1 White Deer Companion Pet (ok, so she doesn’t have any stats… we can all appreciate the beauty in life!)
- 1 Random Puzzle Box Dimension Item (for your Telaran home)
Lastly, a brief 4.2 update is provided to let players know that raid updates are in the works as well as the Planar Fragment System and class balance / revisions.
