The latest Project: Gorgon blog post is now live that lays out the details about the next big feature coming to the game: Vendor Stalls. Vendor Stalls give players a way to sell items via a number of ways including through in-person trade, selling crafted wares, working on consignments with NPC shopkeepers, becoming simply a "dispensing machine" and more.
Some of the features of vendor stalls include:
- 'manned' by NPCs, each hired in 24-hour real time hours. The idea is that players rent space, sell goods for a short time and move on. Every time a table is hired within 30 days, the rental price rises.
- Players can choose how it is decorated, what signs are displayed and can leave notes for shoppers.
- Players will be able to view detailed logs regarding each purchase that includes who bought what in what quantities and more.
- Reservations for a particular player can be made. They are the only ones who can see these items.
- Using a rental table requires use of a skill called Retail Management.
It is possible that the Vendor Stalls will be ready in time for testing this weekend.
