Steam Launch Day Coming on March 13th - Project Gorgon - MMORPG.com

Elder Game Studios has announced that Project: Gorgon will officially hit Steam Early Access on Tuesday, March 13th. The game allows players to "forge their own path through exploration and discovery" in a world without rails for guidance. Players can look forward to truly discovering a new world and hidden secrets all while adventuring in a classless system that allows the ability to play as desired.

Project: Gorgon is a new Massively Multiplayer Online Game brought to you by Eric Heimburg and his wife Sandra Powers. Eric Heimburg, Project Gorgon creator and lead developer, has over a decade of experience working as a Senior and Lead Engineer, Developer, Designer and Producer on successful games such as Asheron’s Call 1 and 2, Star Trek Online and other successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games. Sandra also has extensive experience working as a Producer on Asheron’s Call 1, Asheron’s Call: Throne of Destiny, EverQuest II, and EverQuest II: Echoes of Faydwer.

Project: Gorgon features an ambitious skill based leveling system that bucks the current trend of pre-determined classes, thus allowing the player to combine skills in order to create a truly unique playing experience. We won’t be guiding you through a world on rails so that means no hand holding, and as a result there are many hidden secrets awaiting discovery.

Check out the Project Gorgon official site to learn more.
