The World Continues to Grow as Detailed in Weekly Newsletter - MMORPG.com

The latest Project Genom newsletter is out and discusses how the team is continuing to grow the game world. More details have been added to the camp and its immediate environments, the locations closest to the starter zone and improved details have been added to the structures and buildings within. 

The  open world is also growing through the process of landscape generation in large zones, though in smaller locations like dungeons, the area is populated by hand:

In the big open world, we have freedom of action, and it doesn’t matter if the certain plot point is located three meters away from us or two hundred meters away, as we have a mountain in the supposed place. But in the small limited locations, we need total control over the process. To do this, most of the work on the terrain is done manually. We paint with necessary textures only where we need it, we generate and arrange objects very carefully.

The rest of the letter touches on male character animations, female armors, NPC "life" and the story.
